Meet William (Bill) Maw
William Maw (Bill) is a husband, father, executive, mentor, motivational speaker and writer with over 30 years of workplace experience. He is currently on the leadership team at a financial-technology company in New York City.
Bill has worked for large, mid- and small-sized companies around the world—through good and bad economic times—where he witnessed both: astonishing success stories and spectacular failures. During his career, he has had significant interaction with people in business, government, media and the education sector.
Today, Bill is passionate about personal growth and development, as a means toward achieving happiness and success in work and life. Bill is the author of The Work-Life Equation: Six Key Values That Drive Happiness and Success. He is also like you, just another human being on this planet, seeking some degree of happiness and success.
Bill is also a professional speaker who has keynoted Princeton’s annual Business Today conference. He’s also served as a guest lecturer at Princeton and has had televised interviews; including a segment on The Wall Street Journal Live and Fox Business News, with his 10-year old son, Henry.
Bill has served on several company boards and is an Advisory Board Member for the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) IDEAS Global Challenge. He is also a board member of PYXERA Global, a not-for-profit based in Washington DC.
Though a native of England, Bill moved to the United States in the early 80s to live in New York City. He now lives in Florida with his wife Tara, their two sons Henry and Wills, and a very, very happy Yellow Lab called “Sugar.”
